Description
The essence of the game is a competition for drifting points, as well as available game mode for speed. The main advantage of the game is realistic physics, which allows you to plunge into the world of drive and get a real adrenaline charge from the race. There are 17 locations available in the game, including existing race tracks. In DLC to the game are available different weather modes and new cars.
Sound concept
The sound in CarX is based on the player’s car, and different music plays in the background of the locations. The main sounds that are played during drifting are the roar of the engine and the squeak of burnt rubber. In the menu there is also a sound and monotonous background music.
CarX is primarily an adrenaline game in which the main element is speed and drifting. The main aspects of the sound concept are dynamics and vigour. Sound accompaniment should be realistic, it should create the effect of full immersion in the race. Also all the main sounds should be clearly audible and stand out from each other, so that during the race better control the car and calculate manoeuvres.
The main menu plays unobtrusive electronic music that prepares the player for the race, it should be calm and a bit uplifting. The music should give the player a chance to relax before the race. In this case, it’s my soundtrack.
In the race, phonk music plays in the background. This genre is directly associated with the racing theme; it is vigour and fast music. In this case it is my remix of the Soviet song «For the Last Time» by the ensemble «Merry Guys».
