Iconography of the Middle Ages

In this module, I created visualization for medieval iconography. Images from medieval manuscripts often become the subjects of jokes and memes. Artists were not shy about their fantasies and created outlandish, surreal, sometimes indecent images. I decided to scrutinize the medieval masters’ works and rethink them, leaving the key details and working in planes.

The materials are sourced from The Suffering Middle Ages<\i> book, which shows many examples of iconography from the most sublime to the most indecent.
