Проект вдохновлён двумя ключевыми идеями. Во-первых, особенностями материала: на первом занятии меня зацепила фотография тающего, но застывшего пластика — его текучесть и трансформация. Во-вторых, ассоциацией с каплями воды: текущая вода, как и время, неостановима. С помощью формы капель воды и цвета (глубины моря, океана) я передаю идею о «замершей текущей воде» — моментальной фиксации вечного потока.
Материал
Для работы был выбран полилактид (PLA), который чаще всего используется для 3d печати. Благодаря относительной низкой температуре плавления он отлично подходит для лазерной резки и последующей обработки.
В работе используется вторично использованный пластик (брак, лом, обрезки от 3d печати), что делает продукт современным и актуальным в теме экологии.
