В своей серии работ я решила обратиться к теме морских существ. Меня вдохновляют их сложные формы, фактуры и мельчайшие
детали, которые можно рассматривать часами. Каждая работа стала частью моей личной коллекции — собранием морских существ,
запечатлённых тушью на бумаге.
Идея работать именно с морскими существами возникла случайно — в процессе экспериментов
с тушью по воде. Некоторые пятна напоминали раковины каури, и эта ассоциация стала отправной точкой всей серии.
Постепенно работа над проектом превратилась для меня в медитативное наблюдение за движением туши и в поиск ценности в непредсказуемости, в способности принять и использовать несовершенство результата как часть художественного замысла.
