The Plague Doctor, Reflected
This is not a poster of the hero.
The plague doctor mask fills the frame, ornate, theatrical, inhuman. It fills the emptiness so there is no room for narrative distraction. The image is the villain. But in the dark glass of a single lens there is a contradiction: a tiny, exact reflection of Grom. No armour, no legend, only a man by himself.
The hero is exactly what the villain perceives.
This reversal is the basis of the poster’s main idea: identity is produced by opposition. The man fighting the monster makes it clear. The audience receives the mask as a direct visual. It’s what’s on the inside that matters.
