I am Lisa
I’m a book designer working with typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
My skills cover the full arc of book design — from concept and cover to typesetting, layout, and prepress. I build spreads and full book architecture that serve the text rather than decorate it, working across literary fiction, poetry, stage adaptations, and art catalogues. I’m proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, moving seamlessly from first sketches to print-ready files. I read deeply, design precisely, and care about the details readers feel but rarely notice — rhythm, hierarchy, and the quiet logic of a well-made page.
Flight by Mikhail Bulgakov
book direction based on the stage production

This is a spectacular, dynamic, and provocative production staged in Yuri Butusov’s signature style. The author tells the story of the «escape» or «flight» of White Guards and their sympathizers from Russia during the Civil War.

I shape a book’s visual and structural logic around the source it accompanies. For Bulgakov’s Flight, produced alongside the stage adaptation, I built the composition as a whole — how the production, the text, and the visual material speak to one another across the pages.

Your Unshaken World
In Memory of Vadim Kozovoy
The book tells not only about the work of Vadim Kozovoy (1937–1999) — a remarkable poet, translator, and thinker — but also about his difficult fate. He survived a war wound, arrest, and a labor camp in his youth, and in 1981 he left for France. The book includes his poems (including unpublished ones), excerpts from his prose, occasional notes, and reminiscences of friends.

I rethink existing editions while preserving what makes them recognizable. For Your Unshaken World, dedicated to Vadim Kozovoy, I refreshed the structure, typography, and rhythm so the book could reach a new reader without losing the weight of its subject.

Catalogue
The catalogue presents the multifaceted work of Anna Zhelud — a contemporary Russian artist whose works organically intertwine a powerful plastic form with a deep lyrical intonation. This publication is a guide to a unique artistic world, where each work becomes part of a single, coherent statement.

I organize complex material into a clear structure while keeping the design in the same aesthetic as the images. In the Anna Zhelud catalogue, the sequence of artworks, the texts, and the design form a single visual language — typography and composition echo the rhythm of the works rather than competing with them.
Let’s work together.
